On 20 August at 11:00 a.m., Ukrinform will host a press conference titled “An Urgent Action Plan to Ensure Heating for Communities in Ukraine.”
During the press conference, experts and Ukrainian manufacturers of boiler equipment, united in the Thermal Energy Cluster of Ukraine, will present an Urgent Action Plan to strengthen the resilience of heat supply systems. The plan will propose establishing a state reserve of emergency heat-generating equipment to enable the rapid restoration of heat supply in the event of damage to critical infrastructure.
The need for such measures is driven by the high risk of further attacks on critical infrastructure during the upcoming heating season. It is impossible to predict in advance where damage may occur or which community will require urgent restoration of heat supply. Ukraine therefore needs a state reserve of emergency heating equipment that can be promptly deployed wherever it is needed.
During the event, Ukrainian manufacturers will also sign a Memorandum of Cooperation, confirming their readiness to combine their production capacities to build this state reserve.

- Anatolii Korzh, President of the Thermal Energy Cluster of Ukraine; Director of the ARDENZ Brovary Boiler Equipment Plant;
