During the XXII International Industrial Forum, one of the main events was panel discussions organized by the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance. The third round table took place on May 30, 2024, gathering cluster leaders and participants, becoming the focal point of a productive and insightful discussion on the main challenges, achievements, and future development plans of industrial clusters in Ukraine. President Oleksii Leshchinskiy of the Thermal Energy Cluster also joined the discussion.
Participants initially identified the main challenges in cluster development, including issues with export promotion programs, difficulties in cooperation with state educational institutions, challenges in front-line regions, and a downturn in the industrial automation market. However, by sharing experiences, participants highlighted ways to address these issues.
They discussed various methods and techniques already employed by clusters, such as joint projects and exhibitions, development of industrial parks, regional events, networking and idea exchange, joint websites and grant writing, export initiatives, and much more.
Participants called for the scaling and dissemination of best practices, increased support from government institutions and international organizations, as well as the need for workforce training, the establishment of prototyping centers, and the expansion of sharing services.
The third round table at the International Industrial Forum once again underscored the importance of collaboration and knowledge exchange for overcoming challenges and achieving success in the Ukrainian industry.
